The Rijksmuseum van Oudheden in Leiden is the recognized National Museum of Antiquities and also the national center for archaeology.
Here, the backlit walls of MAGNA Glaskeramik set the stage for the extraordinary gems of the current permanent exhibition "Cameos. Masterpieces in Miniature". The fantastic one-of-a-kind pieces are staged as accentuating centerpieces, as it were.
Ice Nugget by MAGNA Glaskeramik
A total of 11 Ice Nugget frames were cut into two halves each, polished on one side, for the exhibition.
The Rijksmuseum team is happy with the outstanding sustainable installation and has enjoyed a very successful opening in December 2022.
