LEED - Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design
Classification for ecological construction
LEED is an internationally recognized certification system for green building developed by the U.S. Green Building Council in 1998. This certificate, issued by independent third parties, demonstrates our expertise in the design, construction and operation of environmentally sustainable buildings.
It confirms that we have the necessary know-how and skills to successfully implement environmentally friendly projects and realize sustainable solutions.
Cradle to Cradle
Continuous and consistent circular economy
The C2C concept describes a form of cyclical resource use. C2C-awarded products can be continuously kept in technical cycles. Since the raw material of MAGNA Glaskeramik consists of almost 100% scrap material from industrial and bottle glass production and can be completely added back to the cycle of recyclable materials even after use, MAGNA Glaskeramik is considered a prime example of efficient use of resources and raw materials.
MAGNA Glaskeramik was again certified with the Cradle to Cradle Gold label.
Solar Impulse
Clean and profitable solutions
Bertrand Piccard and the Solar Impulse Foundation want to support companies that want to meet the ecological challenges and operate economically at the same time. More than 1000 clean and profitable solutions have already been found.
MAGNA Glaskeramik is one of them.
Confirmation Solar Impulse Foundation
"Solutions exist that are logical more than just ecological, that can create jobs and generate profit while also reducing polluting emissions and preserving natural resources."
Bertrand Piccard

As a notified testing laboratory and product certification body, ift Rosenheim has issued MAGNA Glaskeramik with a certificate of constancy of performance.
Greenbuildingproducts
Environmentally friendly building materials
The Greenbuildingproducts certificate demonstrates our expertise in environmentally friendly building materials and their use in construction projects. It confirms that we have the knowledge and expertise to provide energy-efficient and sustainable solutions for the construction industry.
The declaration of MAGNA Glaskeramik on the ecological product database "greenbuildingproducts.eu" highlights the advantageousness of using this material as a sustainable building material in so-called green building projects according to the German DGNB and American LEED standards.
These certificates demonstrate our commitment to a sustainable future and underscore our expertise in environmental protection, energy efficiency and green building. As MAGNA Glaskeramik, we are continuously committed to providing innovative solutions that offer both environmental and economic benefits.
